what’s a fit pic?
a photo of you in an outfit: a mirror selfie, a photo a friend took, a fit check you sent the group chat. looksake starts from those.
do i have to photograph my whole closet?
no. start with a few fit pics. pieces join your closet as they show up in your outfits, and you can add close-ups whenever you like.
what happens to the photos i choose?
you pick photos with the iPhone photo picker, so looksake never sees the rest of your library. the photos you pick are sent to our AI provider, Google’s Gemini, to find the pieces in them.
what if it gets a piece wrong?
you fix it. every piece it finds waits for you: keep it, rename it, split two that got merged, or leave it out. nothing you haven’t confirmed is used for styling.
can i check something before i buy it?
yes. use “in a store” in the camera to photograph a piece and compare it with your closet. full pairings are part of plus.
what about shopping online?
it’s planned: share a product photo from another app into looksake for the same check. it isn’t available yet.
